One thing to consider in general is that it happens most often when your brand is outside of the digital world or disconnected from your primary niche. So it can still be digital, but disconnected. So, for example, if you are, you probably have a lot of experience with your store and people will refer to it, and it doesn't necessarily make sense to reference your domain. Likewise, if you have video, it probably won't make much sense. However, there are still opportunities to ask for referrals back to your domain in those situations that you may not have been fully aware of before. With these opportunities, it's possible. So there are many ways to do this. I’ll dive moible number data into some of them in this strategy section. Usually, people encounter errors from website administrators. For whatever reason, they misspell your domain name. For example, if you're a big company, Pepsi or something like that, you can look up and you'll probably find some examples of people thinking it's Pepsi. So you can go to them and say, hey, please fix the errors on your site, how you're linking to us. This will help your users. It will help us. This would be a good thing. They usually do. So a good process for finding these errors is detailed in the link at and seeing if there is indeed a volume of links with different spellings, I may have mispronounced his name. But that, you can find that process, I can't go into as much depth here as I'd like to. But I definitely recommend you check out that post. The most powerful ongoing process is simple brand monitoring.
